Mr. B

Hello! My name is Mr. B and I am an individual that is always looking for new and exciting things to do. In fact, I have a rule for myself that requires me to do something, especially something new, every weekend. For anyone interested in those escapades, you can find my weekly blogs about my adventures at mywackyweekends.com.

Back in September of 2024 I decided to take part in a beekeeping experience. Little did I know, this experience would be a life-changer. I immediately became fascinated in the intricacies of bees and the act of being a beekeeper. By the end of the experience, I knew I wanted to become a beekeeper as well. I joined the local beekeeper’s association and soaked up as much knowledge as I could, set to get my bees in April of the following year.

Upon getting my bees, I then wanted some sort of aviary helpers to assist in eating the various backyard pests that can be a threat to bees: mainly Varroa mites. While I was originally planning to get some chickens, fate had other plans. I accepted some turkey eggs on a whim and began to incubate them. Twenty weeks later, my first turkey hatched. In the end, I hatched a total of 7 turkeys.

This website serves as a way for me to monitor both my bees and my turkeys in addition to providing information (eventually) and products (also eventually) to anyone who stumbles upon this website.
